1.
If by mutual agreement of all players involved in a game (01
or Cricket), it is determined that the current game is taking too
long (i.e. 30 minutes or 10 throws at double 1 off) the players

2.
All disputes, which arise during the course of the match,
should be settled in a private conference of the team captains.

B.
Any player BARRED from any BUDA venue shall be:
1.
Questioned by the board about the ‘barring incident’ and a
board decision shall be determined from:
a.
Barred from the venue only. If barring was a result of NON
BUDA incident- Darter will be allowed to shoot in league; except at
the venue involved.
b.
Barred from all league functions if the barring was a result
of an incident directly related to a BUDA function. A statement of
‘reversal’ from the involved venue owner/manager will be required to
re-instate the barred darter for the next season of play.
c.
It is the responsibility of the team with any ‘barred form
one venue members’ to ‘field’ a full team (3 or more team members
without the barred member) in matches where the barred member can
not compete.
C.
A darter in the league who ‘Quits or Fails to SHOW-UP for
three (3) consecutive weeks (without good cause - as determined by
the BUDA board) may be (if the team captain petitions the board in
writing) “Dropped” from the team/league. Their previous scores and
‘stats’ shall be removed from league records (for the season
involved) and they will not be part of any league functions. If a
darter is ‘dropped’ in this way and wishes to be an active league
member in the future, that person must submit a WRITTEN letter to
the board for consideration within 10 days of the incident.
D.
It is the captain’s responsibility to control their team.
Unruly teams and their captains may be subject to disciplinary
action at the discretion of the executive board.
E.
Obscene language, heckling, unsportsmanlike conduct or other
harassment is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN and will NOT be tolerated. Such
behavior is basis for a written complaint by any BUDA member (this
is not a protest) to the board; disciplinary action will be
determined by the BUDA executive board.
IV.
Scoring
A.
Scores for each individual will be kept in all games for
purposes of keeping averages as follows:
1.
The score sheet must be NEAT and LEGIBLE. This is required
for the statistician to keep accurate records.
2.
The dart’s score shall be determined from the side of the
wire at which the point of the dart enters the board. Darters must
announce their score loud enough to be heard before they pull their
darts. Darts will NOT be pulled from the board until the score is
verified and recorded by the chalker and the scorer.
3.
The league supplies score sheets to keep track of each
individual’s points for the purpose of averaging.
4.
The last trip to the line (in 01 games) which takes the score
below 80 points will be the last score used for average computation.
Outs are included in average if 80 or higher.
5.
The chalker’s score and the match sheet must match. At any
time during a game the person keeping the score sheet can stop
(PLEASE do NOT interrupt the shooter) the game to verify the score.
If there is a discrepancy, the score sheet or the chalkboard will be
changed to the correct score, providing the math is correct.
6.
The chalker and scorer shall NOT distract the thrower in any
way.
7.
Chalkers score board is VALID, if there is a difference
between the ‘chalk’ and paper scores this should be corrected BEFORE
the next player shoots - after the next player has thrown a dart the
score of the ‘chalker’ is considered the correct score. With both
captains’ consent, another player on the visiting team can replace a
chalker.
8.
The chalker can ON REQUEST of the thrower give points thrown
and remaining points. He/she cannot give combinations for outs, nor
tell which double is left. When marking remaining scores, actual
numbers must be used (NOT x20 for 40). Also; no abbreviations of
score are to be used (such as T for 100 or x for double 1).
9.
In the game of cricket, the first team to close all with even
or greater points is the winner, with point going to team not
individual.
10.
For a dart to count for score, it must remain in the board
for five (5) seconds after the LAST dart of the turn is thrown, and
the tip (point) of the dart must be touching the bristle portion of
the dartboard.
11.
Once a dart is thrown during a turn, it CANNOT be re-thrown.
No caught darts can be re-thrown.
12. BUST RULE shall prevail. If you go
above or within one (1) point of your remaining score, your turn
does not count and the score remains as it was at the beginning if
your turn. If you bust on the first or second dart of your turn, you
must pull you darts. NO extra darts shall be thrown after 01 double
out or the final ‘winning’ shot in cricket----- or it is a BUST
13.
Out of turn throws: If a player throws out of turn please
attempt to straighten out the situation between the two teams
(please let good sportsmanship be the ‘rule’). If the situation
cannot be worked out contact the rules chairman.
14.
In any game, the thrower CAN ask another member of his/her
team (except CHALKER) for advice on OUTS or advisable moves in
cricket.
15.
Recording the OUTS: The player who took the out shall be
identified and the points remaining at the start of the turn in
which the out was taken shall be recorded.
B.
The visiting team shall be responsible for supplying a
chalker.
C.
The home team shall be responsible for accurately filling out
the match score sheet. This shall include: both captains must sign
the score sheet where indicated.
D.
The visiting team captain is responsible for delivery of the
score sheet and money envelopes no later than 6:00 PM (same week)
Wednesday at the designated drop off location. FAILURE to turn in
score sheet and/or monies-see By-law XII.8.
